Njoroge joined the centre in the year 1999 when it started accommodating street children. He was rescued from the street by his friends that had joined the centre early. After his primary level, he joined Polytechnic and studied mechanical engineering. He now owns a lorry and supply building materials like sand, concrete and cement.
